You made me cry and laugh! I too will be saving this wonderful writing to refer to as needed. My just turned 20 yrs old trans identifying daughter still hasn't medicalised despite wanting to earlier. There have been recent conversations about makeup and blaming me about my (one time!) voiced attitude that chucking on foundation and not looking after acne just compounds skin problems. Happily accepting blame as to why daughter hasn't experimented much with make up🙄.
